Hunt for bargains
RetroPop is the city's second-hand app. Find a listing, make an offer and wait for the seller to answer. Sometimes they come back with a counteroffer. Once you agree on a price, you go and pick it up in person.
Clean it. Fix it.
Most of what you buy needs some work. On the workbench you take the console apart, clean the board and the shell, swap the batteries and put it back together. If it turns on at the end, it sells for a lot more.
Fill the shelves
Orders come in boxes on a pallet by the door. Carry them in, put the shelves wherever you like and fill them one game at a time.
Open the doors
Once you open, people start coming in from the street. They look around, pick something up and take it to the till. If the prices are fair, they come back another day.
Make it yours
Paint the walls, hang posters and change the style of the sign over the door. How the shop looks has an effect on how many people come in.
Watch it grow
Every day you open adds experience. Levelling up unlocks new furniture, services and staff, and the shop keeps getting bigger.
Insert coin
Put an arcade cabinet in the shop. Swap the board and it plays a different game. Customers drop coins in, and every so often someone has to empty the box.
